The 21st Nova Corps also known as the Galactic Marines was a military corps in the Republic serving under Jedi General Ki-Adi-Mundi and Commander Bacara. The Galactic Marines served as some of the Republics most elite soldiers due to their extended training. During one of the Corps most pivotal battles in The Clone Wars, Palpatine gave the execution for Order 66 where the Nova Corps turned on and killed Jedi General Ki-Adi-Mundi on Mygeeto.
